Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Kuadro uses only the ones it needs to work: to keep you signed in, to protect forms and to remember the language and theme you chose. We use no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and no third party sets cookies through our pages. That is why we do not show a cookie banner.
The cookies we set
| Name | What it is for | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
session_id | Keeps you signed in. It is signed and cannot be read by scripts. | Until you sign out |
_qr_rails_session | Holds the security token that protects forms against forged requests, and the workspace you have open. | Until you close the browser |
locale | Remembers the language you picked. | Until you change it or clear your cookies |
theme | Remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme. | Until you change it or clear your cookies |
People who scan your codes
Opening a short link or scanning a dynamic code sets no cookies. The page it leads to may set its own; that is up to whoever runs that page.
Payments
When you pay for a plan you go to Lemon Squeezy’s checkout, which sets its own cookies on its own website under its own policy.
Turning cookies off
You can delete or block cookies in your browser’s settings. Without session_id and _qr_rails_session you cannot sign in; without locale and theme the site follows your browser’s language and your system’s theme.
