These terms are an agreement between you and [Legal company name] (“Kuadro”, “we”), [Registered address], [Country]. They apply to Kuadro’s website, the editor, the dashboard, the short links and the API (together, “the service”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them.
1. The service
Kuadro lets you create QR codes, barcodes and short links (“smart links”), point them to a destination, change that destination later, publish simple landing pages with forms and see how your codes are scanned. Some features need a paid plan.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to have an account.
- Give a valid email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account and in the workspaces you own.
- A workspace owner decides who is a member. Members act on behalf of the workspace; owners answer for them.
- Tell us at [contact email] if you think someone else is using your account.
3. What you may not do
You may not use Kuadro, its codes or its short links to:
- send people to phishing, malware, scams, or pages that try to steal credentials or payment data;
- publish or link to illegal content, content that sexualises minors, or content that infringes someone else’s rights;
- send spam, or hide where a link leads to deceive the person who scans it;
- attack, overload or probe the service, or get around plan limits, rate limits or security checks;
- resell the service as your own without our written permission.
We may disable a code, a short link, a landing page or an account that breaks these rules, without notice when people are at risk.
4. Your content
What you put into Kuadro (destinations, texts, logos, images, landing pages, and the answers your visitors send through your forms) stays yours. You give us the permission we need to store it, process it and show it in order to run the service for you. You confirm you have the right to use it.
When your landing pages collect answers from visitors, you decide what to collect and why: you are responsible for that data and for telling your visitors about it. We process it only on your behalf (see the Privacy policy).
5. Plans and payment
- The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans (Pro and Team) are billed monthly or yearly, in US dollars, at the prices on the pricing page when you subscribe.
- Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record: it charges you, issues the invoice and handles taxes. Its own terms apply to the payment. We never see your card details.
- A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. If you cancel, you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for and it is not renewed. Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law or Lemon Squeezy’s refund policy says otherwise.
- If a payment fails, the plan stays active for a few days while the payment is retried; after that the workspace moves to Free.
- We may change prices. A change never affects a period you already paid for, and we will tell you before it applies to a renewal.
- We may sometimes give a workspace a plan for free, for a set time or with no end date. When a gift ends, the workspace moves to Free.
6. When a plan ends
On Free, features of paid plans are no longer available: for example, you cannot create new dynamic codes or use redirect rules, analytics, landing pages, custom domains, the API or extra members. Your data stays in your account. Static codes keep working because their content is inside the code itself.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service and your short links available, but we cannot promise it will never fail or be interrupted. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove something you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Kuadro at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to [contact email]. When an account or workspace is deleted, its codes and short links stop working. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
9. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [Country]. Disputes go to the courts of [City and country whose courts settle disputes], unless the law of the country where you live as a consumer gives you the right to go to your own courts.
